First Hog Bow Kill

Chandler Sain, 13 years old, got his first hog with his bow on May 21, 2011. He was hunting in the bow preserve. He made a great shot and dropped the hog in its tracks. Way to go, Chandler!!

Peter who is from Greece had an absolutely great day of Hunting. In the morning he saw 2 Gobblers and got one! In the evening of the same day he got male boar.

Turkey Season is here!!

The gobblers are booming in the swamps at Bostick Plantation!! A recent hog hunter counted 10 different gobblers on a morning hunt. Our season opens on Tuesday, March 15. We have some skilled guides that can get that ole gobbler in close.

The hogs are everywhere at Bostick. This past weekend we had a group from Ohio take several nice hogs with dogs. Two stand hunters also took nice boars. Spring has arrived at Bostick and the hogs and turkey are on the move.

Happy New Year from Bostick Plantation!!

The recent cold weather and waning moon had the game on the move this week at Bostick Plantation. We had several hogs and does taken this week. Some large bucks were spotted and 3 bobcats were taken. A very good week for late season. 13 year old Chandler Sain almost got a triple with his bow. He shot a hog, doe and missed a huge buck that ducked his arrow. Way to go Chandler!
