Message from the Owner – Joe Bostick

Hello, I’m Joe Bostick, Owner-Operator of Bostick Plantation. The Bostick family and our closest friends enjoyed hunting and fishing this game-rich Plantation for more than 200 years after it was granted to our family by King George III in the 1760′s. In 1977, I began entertaining hunters on our private Plantation. Our success was so great that I decided to open the Plantation to the public. So, I renovated the farm house that I grew up in and opened what is now known as our Main Lodge here at Bostick Plantation. It didn’t take long for word to get out and we had to expand our operation. So, in 1980, I built our Executive Lodge.

Second, only to our top quality hunting, is our down-home Southern Hospitality. At Bostick Plantation, we consider our hunters as our honored guests. I want everyone to feel at home and comfortable in a friendly down-home atmosphere. We try to make everyone feel like part of the Bostick family. We always enjoy sitting around the warm, glowing fireplace in the lodge and sharing hunting stories with our guests. There is never a dull moment at Bostick Plantation.

I feel that my decision to open Bostick Plantation is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It has given us the opportunity to share Bostick Plantation with our guests and get to know them better. We have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people from so many walks of life. Many of our relationships with our guests have developed into lifelong friendships.
